Molten Poetry

Let it burn.

The breeze will lift you
to lavender’s gifts.
The bees? Admit two,
those pollen spendthrifts.
Peace be upon you;
go steady, mend rifts.
Gentle breeze blows through
memories. It sifts
burrs and thorns into
garden corners. Shift
direction. North. True.
Lavender’s breeze drifts;
It swaddles to soothe.

Poetry from a different lifetime.

        You certainly nailed the essence of lavender perfectly, even if it was unintentional. Really lovely read.

        I seem to hover around (between?) cosmic and nature themes. I’ve got a bunch more nature-oriented work in the archives, so I’m happy to see that you appreciate it. More to come! Thanks again
