Fluttering breeze
and updraft, dusting
from glittering wings,
gentle being,
the monarch
– king, nay, queen,
filigree, in silver,
traced above the trees,
beneath Old Sun,
glinting, weft and weave
casts shadows and epics
beneath your feet.
